Justin Bieber opens up about putting Selena Gomez first

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have been going strong for almost two years, and it seems that might be in part thanks to him making her a priority.

Bieber recently opened up to Oprah Winfrey about how proud he is to be Gomez’s boyfriend, states People.

“I never make her separate from me [because] I don’t ever want her to feel like I’m ashamed of her. I feel like a lot of guys do that, especially in the business. They don’t want to be seen with [their girlfriend], so they’ll make them ride in separate cars and do all that getaway stuff. [But] if we get away, we’re getting away together,” Bieber commented.

There have been rumors about problems in their relationship, but it sounds like things are all good.

Do you like how he handles their relationship?

The reality star posed with boyfriend Kanye West last night on Instagram prior to attending the Midori Halloween shindig.

weeted the company spokeswoman along with the above picture: "Splash," a reference to the 1984 movie starring Tom Hanks.

West, meanwhile, is dressed as a sea captain, which is appropriate really: he'll be riding Kardashian's waves later in the evening... if you know what we mean!

Last year, Kardashian also honored a kinda famous film character, heading out for Halloween as Poison Ivy from the Batman franchise.

The glossy magazine contains article regarding the actress Rani, her brand new career moves, marriage plans and lots more. Rani Mukerji was recently seen in Anurag Kashyap's 'Aiyyaa' directed by Sachin Kundalkar. The fiery and supreme talented actress will be next seen in Reema Kagti's directorial movie 'Talaash' starring Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and others.

Chetan Bhagat debuts as scriptwriter with Salman Khan's Kick

Chetan Bhagat is quite known as a famous novel author, where his bestseller 'Five Point Someone', '3 Mistakes of My Life', 'One Night @ the Call Center' and '2 States' have also been officially adapted into Bollywood movies. However this novel author had turned into a film script writer now, where he had started to write the script of the upcoming film 'Kick', starring Salman Khan and directed-produced by Sajid Nadiadwala

The author announced this news on Twitter by saying, "Happy to share with you that I'll be writing the screenplay of 'Kick' starring Salman Khan and directed by Sajid Nadiadwala."

The basic idea of the story would be adapted from the original Telugu film. He said, "Will be adapting Kick from original Telugu superhit, with fair amount of changes as well. Huge expectations, need all ur support! Thanks!"

The writer as well shared the story of the movie on the social networking site by saying, "Kick is a about a guy who lives life only for his kicks, a powerful concept and a perfect recipe for a Salman-Nadiadwala blockbuster."

Superstar Salman Khan had earlier acted in the film 'Hello', which was also adapted from Bhagat's book 'One Night @ the Call Center'. The writer adds, "Have known both Salman and Sajid Nadiadwala for a while and been wanting to work with them. Couldn't have asked for a better screenplay debut."

Bhagat expressed that he would like to reach the masses, especially Indian famer. He tweets, "Many writers upgrade, get agents in London. I want to reach masses. The day I reach Indian farmers I'll consider myself a true Indian writer."

Well, all the best Chetan and we are surely looking forward for 'Kick'!

Sonakshi Gets a Piece of Ajay’s Pranks!

Not many would be aware of the fact that the vulnerable, docile and serious Ajay Devgn is the industry’s biggest prankster! Well, Sonakshi Sinha surely wasn’t. And guess what? She tasted a piece of Ajay’s naughty pranks on the sets of ‘Son of Sardar’ which is all set for a Diwali release next month.

Sonakshi, who has worked really hard for her role, learnt bike riding and even cut down on her favourite diets to maintain her curvy figure for the film, was lured by Sjay into having a bowl of her favourite gajar ka halwa. ‘gajar ka halwa’ being the Dabangg girl’s absolute favourite dish, she jumped on to having a spoonful of the dessert. Just as she has one spoon of the so called dessert served by chef ajay, she could realize what she got herself into.

The tentative gazar ka halwa was nothing but chilli paste and had set Sonakshi’s tongues on complete fire with just one spoon of it. Sonaskhi admitted to have been jumping here and there, gulping bottles of water after tasting the yummy mirchi paste that her loving co-star served her with. From now, Sonakshi definitely would be cautious about all these happening around her, for sure!

‘Son of Sardar’ releases on November 13 as it faces stiff competition from Yash chopra’s magnum opus and last film, ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’!

Rush Opening Day Box Office Collections

Having opened to about an average occupancy rate of 15% in the early morning shows, Rush did not show any major growth on its Day 1. As per early estimates, the first day is likely to be in the range of 2.5-3 Crores at the domestic box office.

It seems Emraan Hashmi could not score with this one and the reasons are quite evident. The music of the film was nothing special. Besides, the team hardly indulged in the film’s promotional activities. Moreover, the negative reviews are also sure to take their toll on the box office journey of the film.
Emraan’s last release Raaz 3 had an opening day collection of 10.50 Crores. However, it seems Rush will stand no where in the league. The collections are poor both in multiplexes and single screen theaters.

The film will need some major numbers on Saturday and Sunday to make a decent weekend at the domestic box office.

American Idol Premiere Date, Promo Pic: Released!

Fox has announced that Season 12 of television's highest-rated show will debut over two nights in early 2013: Wednesday, January 16 and Thursday, January 17.

The series has also unveiled a new promotional photo, courtesy of E! News, which at least makes it look like Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj are getting along. At least for the 30 seconds it took to snap this picture...

Are you excited for Season 12? Do you believe Mariah and Nicki were ever angry at each other? Or, like Steven Tyler, do you think it was all contrived for PR's sake?

Steve Honig, Lindsay Lohan Publicist, Quits

Lindsay Lohan's maligned publicist Steve Honig has called it quits amid one public relations disaster after another from the downwardly spiraling starlet.

"He's resigned as Lindsay's publicist Wednesday night," a source tells E! News.

Honig, however, declined to elaborate on why he's decided throw in the towel.

"I'm not discussing this out of respect for my client," he said of his ex-client.

Employed by LiLo for a year and a half, Honig has earned every penny.

Under his watch, Lindsay Lohan ...

... headed down the path to financial ruin
... passed out in a hotel room at least once
... had 911 called on her numerous times
... landed in the hospital after a frightening car crash
... was arrested as part of a small-time jewelry heist
... was banned from a hotel for unpaid bills
... got arrested for an alleged hit-and-run
... got into an epic fight with Dina Lohan
... staved off a Michael Lohan intervention

Good luck, Steve Honig replacement. You'll need it.

Barack Obama Labels Mitt Romney a "Bullsh-tter" in Rolling Stone

Barack Obama is featured in the latest issue of Rolling Stone, and less than two weeks before the November 6 election, the President opens up to the publication with some choice words for Mitt Romney.

Foremost among them?

“You know, kids have good instincts," Obama says about the young vote. "They look at the other guy and say, ‘Well, that’s a bullsh***er, I can tell.’”

Oh, it's on! Okay, it's been on for months now. But still. Strong words.

Among other topics Obama touches on in his interview:

Problems with the rich and poor: There are a whole bunch of millionaires who aren’t paying any income tax, as well as people at the lower end of the income spectrum who may be taking advantage of the safety net we’ve put in place. We should hold everybody accountable who’s not doing their fair share.

Standing up against your own party:  If you can’t say no to certain elements of your party, if you don’t have sets of principles that you’re willing to fight for, even if they’re not politically convenient, then you’re gonna have a tough time in this office.

Roe vs. Wade in peril: I don’t think there’s any doubt. Governor Romney has made clear that’s his position. His running mate has made this one of the central principles of his public life.

The future of his health care plan: Just like Medicare and Social Security, as time goes on, as people see what it does, as it gets refined and improved, people will say, ‘This was the last piece to our basic social compact’ - providing people with some core security from the financial burdens of an illness or bad luck.

His first-term achievements: Sometimes folks obsess with gridlock and the ugliness of the process down here in Washington. We passed health care - something that presidents have tried to do for 100 years…We passed the toughest Wall Street reform since the 1930s… We have expanded access to college through the Pell Grant program and by keeping student loans low. The list of things that we’ve accomplished, even once the Republicans took over, is significant.

What Romney should dress as for Halloween: I don’t know about this Halloween. Next Halloween I hope he’ll be an ex-presidential candidate.

No Kareena Kapoor Khan in Talaash

Before and after the marriage of Kareena Kapoor with the actor turned filmmaker Saif Ali Khan, there were lots of speculations running around that the actress name would be changed as Kareena Kapoor Khan in the credits of her forthcoming film 'Talaash'. However director Reema Kagti has killed all the rumors and stories which were running behind this.

In a recent music launch of the film 'Talaash', director Reema Kagti clarifies that Kareena Kapoor will be having her name as 'Kareena Kapoor' only and not as 'Kareena Kapoor Khan' in the credits of her movie. Thus now all the guesswork's and rumors regarding Kareena Kapoor as to whether she will be keeping her old name or will select for a new one in the movies, have been wiped out by the director.

We wonder that if not in 'Talaash', then would she change her name in her next movie 'Dabangg 2' in which she will be performing in an item song. However if her name will not be changed in Salman Khan's Dabangg 2 as well, which is set to release on December 21, then it's pretty much sure that Kareena Kapoor will remain as Kareena Kapoor only, and not as Kareena Kapoor Khan.

'Talaash' stars Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerji in lead roles. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on November 30, 2012.

Ammaa Ki Boli first look launched at Falguni Pathak Dandiya

The first look of the upcoming comedy drama movie 'Ammaa Ki Boli' was launched recently at Falguni Pathak Dandiya, which was held at Goregaon Sports Club in Mumbai.

The entire cast and crew of the film were invited by Gaurav Kothari of Mangal Entertainment and Raj Suri of 3rd Rock Multimedia, to be a part of their Navratri Utsav 2012, and also to unveil the first look of the film, in the company of media and people who came there to play dandiya and garba.

Apparently over 23,000 people were present at the venue of the most-famous Dandiya and Garba event, which is being conducted by none other than the renowned Dandiya queen, Falguni Pathak. Celebrities such as Sanjay Mishra, Hrishita Bhatt, Nikita Rawal, Mukesh Chaudhry, Govind Namdeo, Saajan Aggarwal, Zakir Hussain, Ishtaq Khan, and others had graced their presence at the do.

Not just the Dandiya queen Falguni Pathak entertained the dandiya lovers with her usual rocking performance, but also the cast and crew of the upcoming film Ammaa Ki Boli, along with other celebrities, had entertained the spectators with their charm and wit.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan may get banned in Pakistan

Where everybody are eagerly waiting for the release of Yash Chopra's last directorial movie 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' starring Shahrukh Khan in lead, looks like Pakistan are not in the mood to entertain the film and are in fact planning to ban in their country.

Just like Saif Ali Khan's 'Agent Vinod' and Salman Khan's 'Ek Tha Tiger', Shahrukh Khan's 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' could be banned in Pakistan and apparently has every chance to displease the Pak censor board. Reportedly as SRK is enacting an Indian Army Officer in the film and is involved in an operation running in Kashmir, the authorities in Pakistan are in doubt that the film may perhaps have shown their country in a bad light by highlighting the old ongoing issue that has been infuriated between the two countries for 65 years.

It is being said that the trailers of Jab Tak Hai Jaan have already been removed from some television channels at there, and the Pakistani Censor Board are yet to inspect the film.

In the meantime, Jab Tak Hai Jaan has gained a new weight in India these days after the death of legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra on Sunday October 21, where the film will be his last directorial venture. Starring Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in lead, the movie is all set to release in theatres on November 13, 2012.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in KJo’s ‘Bemisal’ remake?

Rumour mills are doing the rounds that the Bachchan bahu Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is in talks with filmmaker Karan Johar to play a pivotal role in the remake of her father-in-law and superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s 1982 film Bemisal.

Directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee, Bemisal starred Rakhee, Vinod Mehra and Big B in the lead roles, with R.D. Burman’s great music in it.

According to the gossip mongers, KJo is keen to rope in Aishwarya in the venture, who will apparently play the role of Rakhee’s character if gives a nod! However, nothing is yet finalized.

Till then, stay tuned for more updates.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh condoles Yash Chopra's death

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Sunday condoled the death of veteran filmmaker Yash Chopra, terming him an icon of Indian cinema who entertained many generations with his rare creativity.

"He had an aesthetic talent to make his films look larger than life. His flourish in essaying romance and social drama was unmatched," he said in his tribute to Chopra.

According to Manmohan Singh, Chopra established the popularity of Indian cinema internationally and was honoured by many governments.

"He will be remembered by millions of his fans around the world and his work as a director and producer will be treasured by the nation for many more generations," said the prime minister in his condolence message to Chopra's family and the film fraternity.

Yash Chopra didn't compromise on ethics: Javed Akhtar

Veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar, who worked with Yash Chopra as a writer in blockbuster films like "Deewar", "Trishul" and "Kaala Pathar", says the filmmaker never compromised on his ethics.

"The dialogues in his movies itself had literary values. One thing was highly appreciable about him was that in the 1980s, which was called the dark era of cinema...he took the challenge without compromising on his ethics," Akhtar said on Times Now channel.

Javed Akhtar's wife and veteran actress Shabana Azmi also expressed grief over Chopra's sudden demise.

"Yash Chopra will be remembered because he made cinema he believed in. There was never a single indecent word in his movie. He has had such a long innings," she said.

Chopra passed away Sunday evening at the Lilavati Hospital following multiple organ failure. He was suffering dengue the past few days. He was 80.

Directors pay their homage to Yash Chopra

With Jab Tak Hain Jaan, Yash Copra's last film, inches away from its release date, the industry was left in shock with reports of the director's demise. Cutting across genres of Indian cinema, directors paid their condolences in respect of the legendary king of romantic cinema Yash Chopra.

Madhur Bhandarkar couldn't hold his shock and told TOI, "We knew he was admitted in hospital. But yesterday, everyone said he is improving so we were optimistic. He was one film-maker who inspired so many directors. Though I make different kind of films, he inspired me. Yash Chopra made films on various subjects. His contribution is immense. And I will watch Jab Tak Hai Jaan first day first show. He was encouraging and down to earth."

Mukesh Bhatt to felt the industry was caught unaware. "No one expected this. For me he was a role model. There was not a single day when I used to not speak to him. Even when he was shooting in London he called me from there. It's a personal loss. I lost a friend. There is a vacuum which cannot be filled," he said.

Comic-movie specialist, Aneez Bazmee said, "With the sad demise of the legendary, the romantic era comes to an end. My heart goes for the bereaved family."

Bela Bansali Sehgal added, "A great loss to our country and our film industry!"

And as the legend moves to the heavenly abode, we can just pay homage to him and look back at the classics he left behind. RIP Yash Chopra.

Yash Chopra to be cremated on Monday at Chandanwadi crematorium

Filmmaker Yash Chopra, who passed away this evening at a suburban hospital, will be cremated tomorrow.

Chopra had been in Lilavati Hospital since October 13 after he was diagnosed with dengue. The 80-year-old director died today following multi-organ failure.

"He passed away due to dengue and multiple organ failure today evening. He was in the ICU," Lilavati Hospital spokesperson Dr Sudhir told PTI.

Meanwhile, a string of celebrities including Dilip Kumar and his wife Saira Banu, Shah Rukh Khan, Anil Kapoor, visited the hospital to pay their last respect to the legendary director.

Chopra will be cremated at 3 PM tomorrow at Chandanwadi crematorium in south Mumbai.

"From 9 AM to 12 noon people can come in at the Yash Raj Films studio in suburban Andheri to pay their condolences. He (Chopra) will be cremated at 3 PM at Chandan Wadi," YRF spokesperson told PTI.

Yashji never lost his cool: Waheeda Rehman

There was a stunned silence on the phone line when I informed Lata Mangeshkar about her rakhibrother Yash Chopra's death. "Just yesterday was my niece Varsha's terahwa (the 13th day after death).

Why is God testing me like this?" She paused and added, "Our birthdays are separated by a day. This year he sent me an idol of Mata Saraswati. He loved me like his sister. I feel like I've lost my brother."

Mangeshkar wasn't alone in her grief. Karan Johar - at whose residence a pall of gloom had descended - felt like he had lost his father all over again, while Shah Rukh Khan went numb with grief. "Yashji gone? Nah! Has to be a cruel joke," said Anupam Kher.

The thing about him, as Mangeshkar pointed out, was that no one disliked him. "He had a childlike innocence about him. He loved music and songs, and he had a great sense of poetry. He couldn't sing, but he insisted on singing. He told me he paid his driver extra money so that the poor guy would tolerate his singing when they travelled together."

Waheeda Rehman, who made three of her finest films Kabhi Kabhie, Trishul and Mashaal with Yash Chopra, found it hard to digest the news. "It's so sudden. Just some days ago, I met him at Amitabh's birthday party. He looked hale and hearty and was smiling like always," she said. "Yashji never lost his cool. I remember we shot a famous dramatic sequence in Mashaal where I was dying on the road and Dilip Kumar was pleading with people to take me to the hospital. The scene was done on the road in the middle of the night. We were all edgy, but not Yashji. He was always calm and in control. He never allowed himself any negative thoughts."

My first meeting with Chopra was after his son Aditya's film Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge had become a huge hit. "I've never seen so much money before," he said to me then.

Chopra's enthusiasm for cinema was matched by his ability to keep pace with changing trends. But he had serious issues with cinema taking on the darker side of the human personality. When Deepa Mehta's Fire released, he candidly admitted that he didn't think much of films that went into themes such as alternate sexuality. "We're making all kinds of films—English, Hinglish, sex, horror... I feel for a film to run, it has to have Indian values. For a film to be a blockbuster, it has to be rooted to our culture. Deewaar, which is considered one of the most successful action films, had only one fight sequence! It was the mother-son emotions that made the film a hit," he had said.

Starting with Dhool ka Phool in 1959, he himself made films that changed the grammar of storytelling and brought in radical themes: unwed motherhood in Dhool Ka Phool, the communal divide in Dharmputra, bigamy in Daag, the Oedipal complex in Lamhe, obsessive love in Darr and the Indo-Pak association in Veer-Zara.

A few years ago, he told me why he decided to opt out of directorial awards. "During one awards function, I was constantly asked how it felt to be nominated with youngsters such as Farhan Akhtar, Ashutosh Gowariker, Farah Khan and Kunal Kohli. They are as old as my children. I thought it was high time I stepped aside," he said. "It doesn't mean I'll give up directing films. I'll continue to direct films until the day I die. I'd like to die with my boots on."

In that, at least, he got his wish.

Britney Spears’ conservators and parents are being sued by Sam Lufti, and things are getting messy as he is accusing the singer and ‘X-Factor’ judge of abusing amphetamines.

Lindsay Lohan allegedly called cops on her dad

Someone at Lindsay’s home reportedly called the cops and reported a trespassing issue.
