Lara Dutta's daughter Saira picture: First Look!

The very first picture of Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupathi's daughter Saira has been out, and if truth to be told, she looks extremely adorable and beautiful.
Former Miss Universe turned Bollywood actress Lara Dutta and her ace tennis player husband Mahesh Bhupathi were spotted together in the company of their 8-month-old very cute and lovely daughter Saira, recently at the Jodhpur airport. Well unlike many other mother actresses, looks like Lara was much comfortable in front of the cameras to show her beloved daughter.

Lara Dutta's daughter Saira picture

Lara and Mahesh, who got married in February 16 2011, were blessed with a baby girl on January 20 2012. It is being said that the proud father was much keen in having a daughter. On the other side, the proud mother shares some experience on motherhood in one of her recent interaction by saying, "Motherhood is challenging and thoroughly rewarding. My daughter's giving me new lessons every day."
However when quizzed that if her daughter Saira would follow her mother footsteps, then Lara simply said that at this particular age it looks like she will become a drummer, because she is drumming on everything she can get hold of.
Meanwhile Lara is looking forward to make a comeback in Bollywood very soon. In one of her interview she said, "I'm looking at going back on set in December."

Nikita Rawal's sizzling-hot item song in Ammaa Ki Boli

Item songs in Bollywood have become a trend and the success mantra for the makers. Thus following the same trend, the forthcoming movie 'Ammaa Ki Boli' too has a tadak-fadak desi item song in it, featuring none other than the sizzling beauty Nikita Rawal.

Nikita will be seen in her never-seen-before hot avatar, where she will be amazingly seen grooving to the tune of 'Surmayee Ankhiyon Ka Jadu' in the movie. In one of her recent interview carried out by our team, Nikita was quite excitedly sharing her views and experience regarding the item song. She was also much happy with the steps which was Choreographed by Jojo Khan in the movie.

On the other side when we asked Jojo about Nikita's dance, he said that initially he thought Nikita won't be able to catch up the steps so easily, but was fabulously impressed by her dance moves. The director of the movie, Narayan Chauhan, too was extremely happy after gazing Nikita's spellbound dance performance.

Ammaa Ki Boli stars Farrukh Jaffer as Ammaa, along with actors such as Sanjay Mishra, Hrishita Bhatt, Govind Namdeo, Zakir Hussain, and others in their respective roles. 'Surmayee Ankhiyon Ka Jadu' is being pretty well sung by popular singer Sonu Kakkar, and the lyrics of it are written by Saajan Aggarwal.

Well after having a quick-look of the sizzling item number 'Surmayee Ankhiyon Ka Jadu' in the forthcoming comical drama movie 'Ammaa Ki Boli', which is being carried out by gorgeous beauty Nikita Rawal, seems like Bollywood has found its new item queen!

Ajay Devgn teaches bike stunt to Sonakshi for Son of Sardaar

In the company of Ajay Devgn carrying out a hi-octane stunt by riding horses and Sanjay Dutt showing his superlative personality by driving powerful jeeps in their upcoming Diwali dhamaka, Son of Sardaar, seems like how could the lead actress of the movie Sonakshi be far behind in showing some unexpected surprises to all.
Enacting as a true Sardarni look, soni kudi Sonakshi hold her breath and pretty much balanced herself aptly on the two wheels to carry out some heart-trembling adrenaline stunts on a motor bike for her action comedy film.
Sonakshi Sinha

Buzz is that the gorgeous beauty Sonakshi Sinha was a bit worried when she was informed that he very first entry scene in her upcoming movie 'Son of Sardaar' would be in fact a bike stunt. However she took the challenged with great guts and carried out perfectly under the guidance of her co-star Ajay Devgn, who is as well known as an action maestro.
A source close to the film reveals that Sonakshi has never driven a bike earlier and thus she was a bit worried about riding and performing stunts on the bike, and thus Ajay helped her to perform in an ease manner. Sona practiced the sequence couple of times and when the lady beauty performed it for the final take she simply took everybody around there by sheer surprise as she had carried out with so much perfection, added by the source.

Ajay Devgn teaches bike stunt to Sonakshi
Well from riding two horses by lead actor to performing a heroic bike stunts by lead actress, looks like Diwali Dhamaka Son of Sardaar has it all to give a blockbuster entertainer.

Katrina is sandwiched between Hrithik and Ranveer

After giving back to back hits, actress Katrina Kaif has been flooded with hordes of film offers, and thus for any actor it gets risky to decide which film to do and which to dump, especially when both the films are offered by their dearest friends.
Buzz is that director Siddharth Anand wants Katrina to do his Hindi version of the action thriller Hollywood movie 'Knight And Day' opposite Hrithik Roshan, and similarly director Ali Abbas Zafar also wants to cast Katrina opposite Ranveer Singh in his upcoming project 'Gunday'. Katrina had earlier acted in Ali Abbas Zafar's 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan'.

Katrina Kaif

According to the Siddharth Anand, the lead actress of 'Knight And Day' requires both the qualities, such as to look beautiful and also the excellence of kicking off the bad guys around. Thus he finds Katrina as a perfect choice to match up the character of Cameron Diaz in the film, bearing in mind the praises she got from 'Ek Tha Tiger'.
Though the offer is good, but the actress is now facing with a small problem, that is if Katrina signs 'Knight And Day', she wont have dates for Ali Abbas Zafar's forthcoming film 'Gunday', featuring her Rakhi-brother Arjun Kapoor and actor Ranveer Singh. Sources suggest that shooting dates of both the films will clash with each other, and thus Katrina had to unwillingly make a single choice.

Ranveer Singh and Hrithik Roshan

The best part of doing 'Knight And Day' will definitely give the actress an unlikely chance to flaunt effectively her acting potential, as it has a fleshy role after all, but rejecting 'Gunday' also won't be easier at all, as it's being made under Yash Raj banner and she shares a great bonding with them.
According to Katrina, presently negotiations are going on, but we are sure that no matter what role she does, she would be definitely impressive to one and all.

Once Upon a Time when Ekta Kapoor failed to pay the dues

Ekta Kapoor always manages to stay in the limelight. This time though, it’s for the wrong reasons. Advocate Rizwan Siddique had lodged a complaint against Ekta’s Balaji Motion Pictures on the grounds of non-payment of his dues. Rizwan had worked on certain agreements for the superhit movie Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, which was produced under Ekta’s production banner.

The payment was thought to be of 30,000 INR. According to a leading newspaper, Rizwan stated that he was on a vacation when the plea for help came from Ekta’s production house. He delivered his work on an urgent basis and yet even after sending several reminders on his payment, he never got any reply. On the contrary, Balaji staff had spoken in a disrespectful manner and refused to pay the dues.

After sending several notices, all of which were unanswered, the lawyer sent a summons through the court. At that time, Ekta’s lawyers sent a reply stating that the payment wasn’t made owing to a lapse in overseeing the invoice. The lawyer firm Naik Naik and Co, which handles Balaji’s legal affairs, had stated back in August that their client had no intention of not paying the dues and as the matter has been brought to their client’s notice, the payment will be made.

However, the payment still remains to be cleared and Rizwan is furious owing to the same. The case has again resurfaced after a long while as Ekta has moved to the High Court for liquidating the case. High Court obliged and brought a stay on the current proceedings. 31st October has been chosen as the date for the next hearing.

Rizwan though, remains understandably frustrated. According to him, when even after several requests the payment wasn’t made, Balaji Motion Pictures only tried to even things out as Court had issued a summons. He has asserted that he will not be accepting any sort of payment now. Looks like the matter will be long in the spotlight for the next few months.

Women Power in 2012 Box Office : Kareena Kapoor ‘s Heroine, Vidya Balan’s Kahaani and Sunny Leones’ Jism 2

2012 has been a year of women for Bollywood. The leading ladies bagged it all, riveting performances to the best plots to the most successful films. The female protagonist and strong female characters on the lead overpowered and overshadowed Bollywood this year. It not only opened up an interesting path for more women centric films to be made but also Bollywood has come out of its hero worshipping. Heroines are the new heroes of 2012.

Heroine

Kareena Kapoor hot in Heroine Movie Stills

Kareena Kapoor was the ultimate driving force of the film. Madhur Bhandarkar known for creating honest cinema didn’t exactly create a wonder cinema this time. Heroine received mixed reviews from critics. Bhandarkar’s direction overpowers the film making it very predictable. Kareena’s performance does manage to stand out making her charcter memorable and her role poignant. The female narrative works for this film well garnering the sympathies of the audience for Mahi’s character who pops pills and valiantly fights depression. Kareena has her finger of the pulse of her character and plays it fine. The film was, however, criticized for its mundane screenplay. After opening at a collection of 7.20 crores, the film is estimated to rake up almost 42 crore rupees.

Jism 2

Sunny Leone Hot in Jism 2 Movie Stills
  1. Sunny Leone Hot in Jism 2 Movie Stills
Jism 2 is an erotic thriller that garnered much hype as it was the Bollywood debut of the famous Indo-Candian Porn Star, Sunny Leone. There were mixed reviews on the film. A few critics hailed Sunny Leone’s performance as great and the movie as sexy. While others thought it was a drag bore with a generous dollop of erotica and a failed anti climax. The film opened with a good collection of 7.50 crores on the first day and raked up a lifetime earning of 33.50 crores. The film aroused a great deal of curiosity because of Sunny Leone’s brand name being attached to the film.

Dangerous Ishhq

Karisma Kapoor hot in Dangerous Ishhq Movie Stills
Karisma Kapoor hot in Dangerous Ishhq Movie Stills
Dangerous Ishhq was a fantasy driven, supernatural film which was the comeback venture of Karisma Kapoor after a nine year long break. Karisma who is known for her brilliant acting skills and delivering masterpieces like Zubeidaa was criticized harshly for this film. Her acting was earnest but the film was a terrible torture. The film could barely manage a collection of 6.05 crores.

Kahaani

Vidya Balan in a still from Kahaani Movie
Vidya Balan in a still from Kahaani Movie
2012 began stupendously with Vidya Balan’s Kahaani. She had already given a smasing performance in Balaji’s The Dirty Picture. This film was quite in contrast to her previous role. Set in the serene “City of Joy”, Kolkata, the film is essentially a suspense thriller. Vidya played a pregnant lady who lands in Kolkata to search for her missing husband and mysterious circumstances and incidents follow. The film captured the ethnic beauty of the Bengali culture and life of Kolkata. The plot was full of mesmerizing suspense and the plot worked as the USP of the film. The movie raked a huge profit at box office. It opened at 2.07 crores and earned a lifetime amount of 59.26 crores.
Women oriented roles are preferred as Bollywood takes a sharp turn towards realism. Women narrators are better equipped to tell stories with a greater finesse, keeping intact the sensitive value of the film. The dramatic content is always on a high when a woman is a protagonist. Bollywood has always been male dominated with most stories centered on the lives of the heroes. Women characters were created to play a supporting role. They added a tinge of romance. Lately, stories were created keeping in mind the woman as the pivotal character on the role which holds and binds the film together. This change in Bollywood will certainly help in a more sensible characterization, rather than creating a male dominated and chauvinistic beat of cinema.

Shah Rukh Khan’s JTHJ Movie Poster Inspired, Copied, or is it a Co-Incidence?

Intellectual Property is one of those shady areas in the legal loopholes that not many wish to deal with and the dealings are pretty confusing too. So often certain plagiarisms go unnoticed intentionally as parties don’t wish to get involved in the complex proceedings of proving who originally owns the creativity of innovation portrayed in the matter at hand. Let’s take a look at a few posters which we are not quite sure if are inspirations or imitations.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan

Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Special Forces Posters Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Special Forces Posters Going by the first look of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jab Tak Hain Jaan‘s poster, the news doing the rounds is, it’s an inspired copy of the poster of the 2011 French film, Special Forces. A minute look at the JTHJ poster reflects a fair outline of the French film poster indeed. Well we have to say, this poster imitating trend isn’t entirely new to the industry! So here’s a quick rewind to some of the unabashed copy cat posters of Bollywood.

Ra.One

Ra.One and Batman Begins Posters Ra.One and Batman Begins Posters Shah Rukh Khan might have insisted on the originality of his home production but we surely cannot say the same about his film’s poster. The poster of Ra.One with Shah Rukh carrying Kareena Kapoor in his arms is an exact replica of the Nolan’s Batman Begins poster. And hence we see it is not first time SRK’s movie poster has been accused of rip-off.

Heroine

Heroine Poster and The emancipation of Mimi Album Still Heroine Poster and The emancipation of Mimi Album Still Madhur Bhandarkar‘s ambitious project Heroine might not be making adequate waves in the box office but its poster created some furor over its similarity with Mariah Carey’s photo for her album The emancipation of Mimi.

Ek Tha Tiger

Ek Tha Tiger Poster Wallpaper, Prince of Persia Wallpaper and Max Payne Poster Ek Tha Tiger Poster Wallpaper, Prince of Persia Wallpaper and Max Payne Poster The Yash Raj Films blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger may have broken upturned quite a many records up till now but the first view of the film’s poster showed several parallels had been drawn. The posters of the film bear significant resemblance to the game covers of Max Payne and Prince of Persia. Also Abhishek Bachchan’s Drona shared similarity to Prince of Persia’s wallpapers.

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Lords of Dogtown Posters Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Lords of Dogtown Posters Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara movie may not have an original start after all. The movie’s poster with Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol and Farhan Akhtar walking down the road seems to be highly adopted from Lords of Dogtown’s poster.

Murder 2

Murder 2 Poster Wallpaper, Bad Guy Poster Wallpaper and AntiChrist Poster Murder 2 Poster Wallpaper, Bad Guy Poster Wallpaper and AntiChrist Poster Vishesh Films is famed for its inspired and remade films and when it comes to the posters of its films the scene is no different. While the erotic thriller Murder 2’s posters wear stark resemblance to the posters of South Korean film Bad Guys and Lars von Trier’s AntiChrist (2009).

Jannat 2

Jannat 2 and The Mechanic Posters Jannat 2 and The Mechanic Posters Like we already said, Vishesh Films is famed for its inspired and remade films. And here we have Emraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta starring Jannat 2‘s poster which seem inspired from The Mechanic’s poster.

Hulchul

Hulchul and My Big Fat Greek Wedding Posters Hulchul and My Big Fat Greek Wedding Posters An exact rip off of the My Big Fat Greek Wedding’s poster is the Priyadarshan laughter riot, Hulchul’s poster. The poster looks exactly similar and is without doubt an unabashed imitation of the former.

Akele Hum Akele Tum

Akele Hum Akele Tum and Kramer vs. Kramer Posters Akele Hum Akele Tum and Kramer vs. Kramer Posters And lastly, we have to include the 1995 Aamir Khan and Manisha Koirala musical, Akele hum Akele Tum which shares not only the poster of the 1979 Hollywood drama, Kramer vs. Kramer but is also inspired from its story.

Other Hindi movies with imitated posters are Kites from The Notebook (2004), Anjaana Anjaani from An Education (2009), Mausam from Titanic (1997), Hisss from King Arthur (2004), Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge? from License to Wed (2007), RGV’s Phoonk 2 from The Chaser (2008) and Ugly Aur Pagli from the American sitcom Til Death (2006-2010).

And going by these many movies we get a fair overview of the industry’s hasty functioning and reckless attitude when it comes to poster creativity. And regarding whether Shah Rukh’s JTHJ poster is a copy, inspired or just co-incidence that only Khan can tel. Yet till then the poster might just go on adding dollops of hype to the upcoming release and might further it’s build up in the days to come.

Ram Leela out of Kareena Kapoor’s hand because of Pregnancy Clause!!

We all heard a lot about Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram Leela, slipping away from Bebo Kareena Kapoor and landing in Miss Fine Legs; Deepika Padukone’s court. What we heard was disparity over monetary issues, but what we didn’t get to hear was Bebo’s denial to sign the pregnancy clause. Surprised!

The film contracts in today’s era are iron-fisted, picky and rigid, where some clauses are way too dissimilar from those that use to appear, say, about a decade ago, which only centered around, the remuneration, number of days of shooting, in how many installments would the payment be made etc. But the tables have turned certainly and clauses like actors not accompanying with anyone else other than staff members; for actresses about not creating havoc about kissing or any other bold scene, agreeing to wear any kind of clothes, as per the demand of the script, not denying to any do any revealing act, etc.; even the duration of attending phone calls on shooting locations is time-specified and many others are throwing spotlight on the business angle all filmmakers are keeping in mind.

Some contracts also read as the actress will not get pregnant during the actual shooting of the film. Now this is where Kareena disagreed and refused to sign the contract. The memories are afresh still about Aishwarya Rai being de-casted from Madhur Bhandarkar’s dream project Heroine; which now seems to be no different from his previous flicks; on terms of pregnancy clause, as she got pregnant and had to lay her hands off the film. But Bebo said a straight-away no-no to Bhansali and didn’t sign the contract. Result, Deepika Padukone being casted for her role.

Saifeena’s marriage is just round the corner, so Sanjay’s fear of her leading lady getting pregnant in the due course of principal shooting left him alarmed, so he mentioned the clause, but Bebo’s candor, led him to opt her out.

B-town producers and filmmakers are heading towards a more stringent B.H.A i.e Business Headed Attitude.

Barfi! now a member of the 100 crore club!

Barfi!, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D’Cruz, is now a member of the 100 crore club.

This would be fantastic news for the team of Barfi! as Barfi! has also been announced as India’s official entry to the Oscars.

The film has grossed Rs 100 crore in just 10 days since its release on September 14. Taran Adarsh tweeted : “Barfi has grossed 100 cr *worldwide* in 10 days.”

Barfi! joins this year’s big box office hits Ek Tha Tiger, Bol Bachchan and Rowdy Rathore, all of which have collected Rs 100 crore and over. The film is still expected to collect a lot more.

It's Son of Sardar versus Jab Tak Hai Jaan on box office this Diwali

Bollywood is set to witness more fireworks this Diwali as it is going to be Shah Rukh Khan versus Ajay Devgn on the box office.

Ajay’s dhamaka worth Rs.96 crore -- Son Of Sardar -- and SRK’s magnum opus -- Jab Tak Hai Jaan -- would be released on November 13, coinciding the day of festival of light.

Eros has shelled out Rs.96 crore to buy the distribution rights to Viacom 18's Son Of Sardar, the biggest amount ever spent on a film so far.

The banner has been confident that Ajay's film would rake in much more than Rs.100 crore at the box office.

The two big banners -- Eros and Viacom 18 -- have joined hands to take on Yash Raj Films' Jab Tak Hai Jaan. With both Son Of Sardar and Jab Tak Hai Jaan being pegged as huge releases it remains to be seen which of these would turn out to be the grand Diwali bonanza!

Kanye West to Kim Kardashian: Slim Down!

Kanye West has a message for Kim Kardashian: be more like Beyonce!

Sources tell OK! Magazine that the rapper is urging his curvy girlfriend to follow the same routine as pal Jay-Z's wife, who shares a similar shape, when she slimmed down for Dreamgirls.

"She proved you can get that supermodel body using her lemon juice, cayenne pepper and maple
syrup diet," an insider says of how Beyonce lost weight for a role in that musical.
Kanye and Kim in Soho

West reportedly has no problem personally with how Kim looks - at least one Kanye West sex tape does feature a Kim Kardashian lookalike, after all - but...

... "he wants her to be the face of his clothing line," this insider adds. "To do that she has to fit into the clothes."

Will Kardashian abide by her man's request? We'll see. She typically only loses weight when paid to endorse illegitimate dietary supplements.

Aiyyaa Music Review

Amit Trivedi is on a roll. After English Vinglish he is back with more from his gamut. His journey continues while experimenting with sounds, lyrics and voices. Aiyyaa, considered as a breath of fresh air for Rani Mukerji after her serious roles, is full of entertaining and flamboyant music. There are 6 original tracks in the album and each calls for attention in its own individual way.

Aiyyaa Music Review: Dreamum Wakeuppam

Dreamum Wakeuppam opens the album and one can exclaim ‘What an opening!’ Going by the promos, there are extreme reactions to this one; either one would like it or just hate it, especially with Rani in her new avtar. However musically speaking, the song does catch on with you after 2 or 3 hearings. Song has 80’s ‘dhinchaak’ feel with funky lyrics like ‘Jumpingum pumpingum’. Amit has chosen multilingual talented Soumya Rao who has sung in many South Indian languages. She has brought out the colloquial Southern nuances in the song, which act as a good add on. This one is definitely an eye catchy and attention grabbing track, especially with Rani’s southern siren attempt.

Aiyyaa Music Review: Sava Dollar (Lavani)

Album travels from down South to Maharashtra in the next song titled Sava Dollar (Lavani). As the title suggests it’s a traditional ‘lavani’ with jazzy and tongue in cheek lyrics. Sunidhi Chauhan has given her all and definitely had fun singing the song. Rani Mukerji with her boisterous and naughtiness is also making the song worth a watch in the movie. Song talks about making it big in Hindi movies with reference to all the big names and effortlessly unfolds the theme of the movie for the listener.

Aiyyaa Music Review: Aga Bai

Next song Aga Bai initially fools the listener into believing that the mood is going to change. However after a soft beginning, it picks up pace. Shalmali Kholgade and Monali Thakur have given their voices to this fusion track which has a mix of Hindi and Marathi lyrics.

Aiyyaa Music Review: Mahek Bhi

Album turns a little soft with Shreya Ghoshal singing Mahek Bhi. It’s a typical Shreya song which is accentuated by amazing musical arrangements. The song transfers you to a fantasy dreamland of a girl and her ambitions. Though the song is stereotypical, it has freshness to it mainly due to the use of ‘shehnai’ that stands out from the very beginning.

Aiyyaa Music Review: What To Do

Sneha Khanwalkar makes an entry into the album with an experimental What To Do in her original style. It’s an intriguing song and is situation based which depicts the dilemma of a heroine who is choosing her love. Amitabh Bhattacharya has supported her as a singer and has done a great job.

Aiyyaa Music Review: Wakda

Last but not the least is the track Wakda. It’s the punch words of the film and means ‘crooked’ in Marathi. It aptly describes the protagonist and the storyline, both of which are neither straight nor simple. This song is interesting to listen to and would definitely find its place in the movie at different junctures. It does remind you of title songs from yesteryears’ ‘Golmaal’ and ‘Angoor’ which conveyed the leitmotif of the movie quite clearly and modestly. Amit Trivedi has given vocals to the song and done justice.

Aiyyaa Music Review: The Last Word

Music of Aiyyaa is not understated like Amit’s other sound tracks. Instead, this one is largely loud and in your face while definitely going with the theme and mood of the film. As is a known fact, half the charm of such music is brought about by lyrics and in this case too they are fantastically written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. However, most of the songs are situation based and would only go with over the top comedy and acting of Rani.

Heidi Klum Topless Photos to Lead to Lawsuit?

Search the Internet and you won't have a difficult time coming across Heidi Klum nude pictures. This is one super model incredibly comfortable with her (ridiculously hot!) body.

But Klum is anything but comfortable with photographers infringing on her privacy, which is what went down during a recent vacation in France with her boyfriend/bodyguard, Martin Kristen.

Images of Klum topless have popped up on various websites, all snapped without the former Project Runway host's permission.

It's unclear which French tabloid took the originals, but Klum's reps are in the process of tracking them down because Heidi was on a secluded, private beach and may want to sue over the invasion.

Sources tell TMZ that Klum is likely to wait until the Kate Middleton topless picture scandal is sorted out to determine whether or not she has a legal case to make.

In the meantime... Heidi Klum half-naked pictures are out there, fellas! Go get 'em!

But that day hasn’t arrived.” Her journey from being a Kingfisher model to a delivering hits like Raaz 3 has truly been truly glorious. Amanda Bynes Speaks Out: I'm Doing AMAZING!

Amanda Bynes is pretty amazing.

The actress has been charged with a DUI and two counts of hit-and-run this year, and has been displaying increasingly erratic behavior to say the least.

None of this seems to have fazed the former child star, however. Reached by People magazine yesterday, she assured them all is well. Better than well.

"I am doing amazing," she says.

"I am retired as an actor. I am moving to New York to launch my career. I am going to do a fashion line," added Bynes, described as polite and upbeat.

"I am not talking about being arrested for DUI because I don't drink, and I don't drink and drive. It is all false." (She has pleaded not guilty in the case).

Other sources close to Amanda aren't as blasé.

"People are really concerned," a friend tells People. "She tells people she's not crazy, she doesn't party or drink. She doesn't realize she has a problem."

The star's parents have relocated from Texas to Los Angeles to be near her, according to TMZ, and not a moment too soon, given what's going on.

Last week, she was spotted driving around aimlessly and smoking out of a pipe, which she claims was just tobacco. A dubious claim to say the least.

This week, the 26-year-old appeared "a mess," according to an onlooker who saw her working out at Equinox gym in West Hollywood on Tuesday.

During a spinning class, "Amanda stopped to take her T-shirt off, revealing only a tiny, black, strapless bra - not a sports bra, a push-up bra."

Bynes then picked up her Louis Vuitton bag, "pulled out her makeup kit and started reapplying while looking at herself in the large mirror in front of her."

After doing her makeup for approximately 10 minutes, Bynes put her shirt back on, picked up her things and left. Standard operating procedure.

Amanda, whose license was suspended by the California DMV after her laundry list of driving woes, has been ordered by a judge not to drive or else.

Celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi with Bollywood

Ganeshotsav is the most prominent festival of Maharashtra. And Mumbai, being the capital city of the State has a very strong essence of Marathi culture. Ganesh idols are brought in almost every household in the city. Lord Ganesha is very central to the Marathi culture, the mores of the native Marathis. Celebrated over a span of ten days, the festival of Ganesha paints the entire city of Mumbai in tints and shades of various colors. There is mirth, festivities and life filled in. Pandals are set up in every nook and corner. To a layman, non-Maharashtrian, the festivities of Ganesh Chaturthi has been witnessed only in Bollywood movies. This has also set a new trend of having eco-friendly Ganeshas in the city. Mostly shot in Mumbai, a lot of Bollywood movies cover the local culture vastly, especially encapsulating the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi which is the primary element and epitome of Marathi culture.

Agneepath (2012)

Another movie Agneepath starring Hrithik Roshan and Sanjay Dutt which was released earlier in 2012 shows a beautiful life size large image of Ganesha. The chants clear, the aarti shot almost serenely leaves in the audiences a very pious image and feel of a typical Maharshtrian Ganesh Chaturthi. In the movie, the festival marks a crucial cue to delve deeper into the plot and was immensely important as well as significant. A beautifully pious picturization of the song “Deva Shree Ganesha” fills the audience with faith on the diety.

Wanted (2009)

Salman Khan starrer “Wanted”(2009) which shot him to instant sans-Rajnikanth-of-Bollywood fame has an elaborate celebration scene of Ganesh Chathurti celebrations. Salman’s dance moves in the procession became very popular in the usual celebrations and festivities, especially the procession of Ganesha festival. The song “Tera Hi Jalwa” became immensely popular making the whole nation dance. The local people replicated it to perfection and even improvising on his moves, making the procession more lively and vivacious.

Don – The Chase begins Again (2006)

Our memory dates back to the significant scene in the Shah Rukh Khan starring movie “Don” (2006) where Shah Rukh is seen playing Dhol for the celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi festival. The song “Maurya Re” became very popular. This movie was a reinvention of the Amitabh Bachchan starring “Don” of the 1970s. The Marathi culture factor of the movie was highlighted strongly with the help of Ganeshotsav. Lord Ganesh is symbolic to signify elements of Marathi culture. Also Ganesha implicates prosperity and peace, which is revered in the world of chaos. The chants of “Ganpati Bppa Morya” is to convey that no matter what is going wrong in the world, peace shall prevail in the end.

Religion in Bollywood is very quintessential. Bringing home the idol and praying, making local sweets, dancing in the procession are all factors which have been covered in a multitude of Bollywood movies in detail. The religion of the actor has nothing to do with Ganeshotsav. In both reel and real lives, actors of diverse religions come together to celebrate the festival. Mostly their personal experience of living locally in Mumbai, and witnessing the festivities first hand, come handy in creating a better role image.

Bollywood and Ganesh Chaturthi have symbiotically enriched each other. While movies have used the symbol of Ganesha and his festival to create a feel of local culture and making interesting climaxes of a myriad movies, Bollywood has taught local people how to improvise on celebrations, making it more interesting and larger than life. Courtesy Bollywood, in the end, the entire nation knows the feeling behind “Ganpati Bappa Morya”.

COLORS, one of India’s leading Hindi General Entertainment Channels today announced the launch of the new edition of its blockbuster reality show – Bigg Boss Season6 ‘Alag Che’ (Different) that makes it apt for cohesive viewing for the entire family. Keeping the strategic shift in content and treatment, the show will be aired daily at 9pm, from Sunday to Monday starting October 7, 2012 as a wholesome family entertainer with Salman Khan delivering a parivarik punch.

Speaking on the ‘alag’ factor this season, Salman Khan said, “Bigg Boss Season6 will connect with the whole family this time – there will be a lot of fun while watching the ‘nok-jhonk’ between housemates.  Just like every happy family that has different strokes for different folks, Bigg Boss’ house will also have ‘alag’ personalities, along with their quirks and eccentricities. So be ready with your family members to watch these new twists and turns, whether sitting on the couch or while you’re at your dinner table.”

Commenting on the launch of the show, Raj Nayak, CEO – COLORS said, “If Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is Dancing with the Stars, Bigg Boss is Camping with the Stars. Every season we bring something innovative to the show and to add, to the twist this season, we have opened the doors of the Bigg Boss house to ‘aam aadmi’. Giving them direct access to celebrities and their lifestyles, they will get a chance to rub shoulders with them and emerge as stars in their own right thereafter.”

Speaking about the host of the show Salman Khan, who will be seen at the helm of things, he said, “Salman Khan has a universal appeal – he is loved by everybody from a 7 year old to a 70-year old. So we are now bringing your favorite star to your living room every week in an ‘alag’ avatar.”

With a tag line that promises to be ‘Alag Che’, this season will be unlike any season before in more than one way! Bringing in a new set of rules, surprises and elements, Bigg Boss Season6 comes with a philosophy of keeping it clean and entertaining to ensure maximum fun for the entire family. Any housemates that violate Bigg Boss’ rules will be reprimanded to the PANIC ROOM, which is yet another ‘alag’ element this season.

Giving the audience something more to talk about, Bigg Boss Season6 – ‘Alag Che’ will not just be about celebrities who will enter Bigg Boss but also welcome with open arms, an ‘aam aadmi’. This will give the viewers an opportunity to experience in the Bigg Boss house from a common-man’s perspective!  Making this season ‘alag’ from the previous ones, Bigg Boss will have two charming houseguests – a fish and a talking parrot to give company to the housemates.  Combining all this with the raw energy, intensity and an affable Salman Khan, this season guarantees to take over dinner table conversations and make people, sit, watch and talk about the Bigg Boss!

Adding further, Manisha Sharma, Weekend Programming Head, COLORS said, “This season, Bigg Boss will be the perfect mix of emotion, drama, fun and entertainment. However, what won’t be changing is the fact that the contestants will be devoid of what we consider normal in everyday life – a phone, the TV, a wall clock etc and their reactions to being away from all that they consider dear will cause pressure cooker situations which will be interesting to watch. Evolving to exotic beings with the parrot and the fish this year, we hope the show will be a perfect blend of the common man’s views and stars with their starry tantrums”.

Talking about the new season, Deepak Dhar, Managing Director, Endemol India said, “We have always thrived to innovate and raise the bar. Season after season Bigg Boss has been the talk of town and to maintain the same amount of fanfare we have incorporated a gamut of innovations and new ideas based on our observations and learning from the Bigg Brother Format world over. With the inclusion of the common man in the Bigg Boss House, we will present a wholesome family entertainer to the viewers.”

Produced by Endemol India Private Limited, Bigg Boss presents the unique combination of reality and real, unscripted drama. It is the ultimate reality show where celebrities from different walks of life are locked in a house, for 90 days – with 63 cameras following their every little move 24×7 and Bigg Boss, the ultimate authority in the house who ensures that their stay is anything but comfortable. With this season going cleaner, the Bigg Boss house might just seem a little saner!

Bollywood Movies Getting Bold?

Indian cinema’s dawn has finally arrived it seems when storylines are shedding their shackles and inhibitions. Old mentalities deem Bollywood as turning to perversion and new independent movie directors are calling it the New Age Sexual liberation in cinema. In the end, everyone agrees Bollywood has turned more sexually bold. The stories of dimming lights and bees and butterflies are now told more openly on screen. Indian society’s double standards and hypocrisy is fizzing out to create a more Westernized, modern outlook in Bollywood. Bold, sexual scenes in films like Raaz 3 or Jism 2and signing a reputed porn star, Sunny Leone, in mainstream cinema has assured that Bollywood becomes more sexually confident than ever before.

Who creates the contours of decency and morality? And why do we hide behind the garb of our rich culture? Does Indian culture breed hypocrisy? Aren’t we the country which is often referred to as the ‘Land of Kamasutra’ in the West? Bollywood today more directly faces such questions. After “The Dirty Picture” a very angry Ekta Kapoor had exclaimed that if sex scenes or any sexual content is there in the film, it is to enhance the storyline and for the other needs of the audiences, there is Porn.

Bhatts and Vishesh films are the first to recognize the growing need for sexual empowerment in films. Mahesh Bhatt, known for popularizing art films created a masterpiece with “Arth” which championed feminist cause. Much later, the Bhatts became synonymous with making movies with bold scenes. And they are very openly not ashamed of it. Pooja Bhatt, former actress and director, takes it as a challenge to direct films which are erotic thrillers. It takes a great deal of aesthetic sensibility and a newer perspective to develop such themes in the patriarchal set up of the Indian cinema. Jism-2 which starred Sunny Leone tells the tale of a porn star and the movie despite a poor performance at the box office, is not distasteful in anyway.

Most women portrayed in films these days are real life women who exist among us contrary to stories before which popularized the idea of an ideal Indian woman. The characters were simply unrealistic and created a societal pressure to breed more and more such stereotypical women. Apparently Indian cinema, which is just a mere reflection of the Indian society, is quite reluctant to the idea of an empowered woman, both professionally and sexually.

In crass, raw words, cinema is about selling bodies too. Most films are directed to be a part of the 100 crore club more than telling a good story. Hot women are more appreciated and skin show is natural. So why have double standards and be moralistic about films which have bold scenes. Cinema and Beauty both are high forms of art. And someone who appreciates art shouldn’t judge a film on the skin show. Without moral biases look at a film, in context of its bold scenes as well as the story and entertain themselves without any moral connotations. And well, if they can’t, one mustn’t waste time going to a multiplex. Just download some porn.

Church of Scientology Responds to Vanity Fair Expose in Angry, Eight-Page Letter

Along with accusations of bigotry, the organization's attorney addresses the issue of Nazanin Boniadi, saying it is inconceivable that Tom Cruise would have trouble getting a girlfriend.

The Church of Scientology has fired off an eight-page letter to Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter over its cover story about the organization, accusing the magazine of "shoddy journalism, religious bigotry and potential legal liability."

The magazine's October 2012 issue, with Scientologist Tom Cruise's ex-wife Katie Holmes on the cover, features an expose of the organization, written by Maureen Orth, that includes an allegation that the church held secret auditions to find a wife for Cruise following his divorce from Nicole Kidman.

Hayden Panettiere Speaks on Body Issues, What Makes a Woman Attractive

When Hayden Panettiere was 16, a tabloid printed a photograph of the actress with "cellulite" plastered across her rear end. The experience stuck with the young star.

"I was mortified," the Nashville actress says in the October issue of Women's Health. "It gave me such body dysmorphia for so long. But I remember reminding myself that beauty is an opinion, not a fact. And it has always made me feel better."

These days, Panettiere attends Bikram yoga classes to keep her figure, and she loves eating healthy foods such as egg whites and strawberries, but she doesn't have any real dieting advice for fans or readers.

"Eating healthy is a constant battle. I love chips," she says. "I find when I'm overly concerned about what I eat, I stress out my body and put on weight."

Most importantly, however, Panettiere says she's changed her mindset instead of changing her menu options.

"People can tell when you're happy with being you and when you're not. It's only cheesy because it's true. As I've gotten older and grown into my body, I've started realizing that the way you carry yourself and that light coming out of your eyes are the most attractive things about you."

Whatever it is, Panettiere is doing something right. She's earned the 95th spot in our bikini photo countdown!
